Wake Up
In-Song Dialogue: We need to regain consiscousness. We need to wake up to the knowledge of ourselves. We gotta see ourselves as human beings who have power once again. In this system which enslaves us. In this system which enslaves us. It enslaves us physically, mentally, and spiritually. It is the ruling elite taking away the rights of the lower class and until we wake up and realize it and empower ourselves we will see our rights disappear. It's time. It's time to wake up. Wake up!

Notes
A huge, huge, HUGE thanks to TM for sending this over my way. This is a real treat - I had no idea this existed till very recently! This is one of the earliest audio recordings we have of Rage Against the Machine and it is the only known full recording of them on their 1992 tour where they opened for Suicidal Tendencies. I have no idea if the taper knew who they were prior to taping them or if they were there to only record ST but holy shit I'm so glad they got there early to record Rage. The recording sounds great, sounds like there might have been a minor level adjustment during Bombtrack but otherwise things are very consistent. Huge thanks again!
