Wake Up
In-Song Dialogue: How long are we going to sit? How long are we going to sit back? And let these fascist people, these fascist few, make decisions for us? When we were asked to play this I felt honored to be a part of something that was more more than music. A part of something that was more than music and could become part of of our consciousness as we take all of our energy in this room and apply it to action. Because while they dictate their morality on us they're also counting on us not to do anything about it! Not to say anything about it! Not to use our minds and our artistic energy to fight and combat. As we stand in an age where the upper class and the elite will do anything to protect theirs! They will do anything to protect theirs which includes robbing our women of their choice over their bodies! Until we acknowledge that we can do nothing but everyone in this room has proven them wrong. Please wake up.

We're getting short because of time. I want to thank each and every person for coming out here. Just because Clinton is fucking coming through with his so called promises doesn't mean that this fight isn't over. So keep on fucking coming out to these. Peace, goodnight.

Notes
Another great ijwthstd tape! His notes: Only 2 months after the release of the first CD it was already apparent at this show they were going to be huge, at least in L.A. This was a Rock For Choice benefit with many other acts (Screaming Trees, Concrete Blonde, 7 Year Bitch) but RATM was clearly the top draw in the 3,500 capacity venue and the "Fuck You I Won't Do What You Tell Me" chant breaks out several times throughout the evening.
